Derby Theatre at 50

As a supporter and sponsor of Derby Theatre, we're proud to say its 50 this year, and to celebrate there is a whole load of events and programmes.  From The Great Gatsby in October 2025, through to Oliver Twist in November 2025 to January 2026 and Macbeth in April 2026 (with more to be announced) its bound to be a stunning year for home grown productions.

Sarah Brigham (Artistic Director of Derby Theatre from 2013)  states that "Derby Theatre will always be more than a building - it is a living, breathing home for the people of Derby and beyond. A place with stories are told, voices are heard and communities come together"

As part of this is the 50 Faces portrait and audio exhibition based in the foyer cafe - a fascinating look at how the theatre has changed the lives of those who have performed, worked or even just visited shows!
